WhatsApp also introduced a new feature recently that enables users to link their accounts with an email address. Earlier, WhatsApp only allowed users to verify their accounts using a phone number. However, this could be problematic if a user misplaced their SIM or if their phone was stolen. The New feature of WhatsApp in which you can login with your email ensures an alternative method for account verification for users.

A report by Wabetainfo said that the new email verification feature is now available for iPhone users with the latest WhatsApp update, and it’s expected to be extended to Android users in the near future. This New feature of WhatsApp is accessible in WhatsApp in-app version 23.24.70.
To activate email verification, simply navigate to WhatsApp Settings > Account.

This feature serves as a backup login method in situations where you experience difficulties receiving the 6-digit SMS verification code. “When you enable two-step verification, you can enter your email address. This helps to safeguard your account by allowing WhatsApp to email you a reset link if you ever forget your PIN, and email you a verification code when you register your account,” reads the WhatsApp FAQ.

WhatsApp is working on a new feature in its latest IOS update

This method allows users to access their accounts when faced with connectivity issues, a significant boon for those in emergency situations without cellular service.

To activate this feature, users need to download WhatsApp for iOS version 23.24.70, navigate to the Settings tab, and select the Account option to find the email login feature.

This backup method requires users to input their email, subsequently receiving a securesix-digit code for login.

It’s important to note that this feature doesn’t replace the conventional phone number login; it serves as a supplementary option for specific scenarios.

While entering an email for login, users’ email addresses will solely function as a means to access the account, maintaining confidentiality.

The year 2023 has witnessed essential steps, including the introduction of the Protect IP Address tool and support for passkeys.

Additionally, there are plans to implement usernames on Android, offering an extra layer of privacy. In New feature of WhatsApp in which you can login with your email.

Linking email address to your WhatsApp

WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, has launched a new feature that lets users link their accounts to an email address.

With this New feature of WhatsApp, users can authenticate themselves on WhatsApp using email verification instead of SMS. The feature was previously available only on the beta version of Whatsapp, but now it is available to all users.

The latest version of New feature of WhatsApp for iOS, version 23.24.70, which can be downloaded from the App Store, includes this feature. This option is useful for users who may not have cellular coverage and need to log in to their WhatsApp account.

To add an email address to your WhatsApp account, first go to the Your Profile page, then tap the Account menu, and finally select Email Address.

It’s important to note that the email address is only used for authentication purposes and is not visible to other WhatsApp users.

However, it’s worth mentioning that users still need a valid phone number to use the platform. In New feature of WhatsApp in which you can login with your email.

In addition to this, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature called voice chat, which allows users to connect with large groups without causing too much disruption.
With voice chat, you can speak live with members of a group chat while also being able to message in the group.

A few months back, WhatsApp hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons. An entity called Pink Whatsapp was making the rounds.

While Millennials and Gen Z would think that ‘Pink WhatsApp’ is the new feature launched by the popular messaging service, the reality is that the ‘feature’ we are talking about is a fraudulent one, created with the aim of conning its users.

Once installed, this application will gain access to the smartphone’s data, apart from getting hold of the device owner’s confidential data like bank details, photographs and passwords.

WhatsApp Will Stop Working on These Smartphone from October 24th
